Simon Munnery: as close to art as comedy gets...


In comedy, like in art, there are those who reinstate what we already know and there are those who are interested in asking questions about what we don't... Stewart Lee makes this point much more eloquently in his book, How I escaped my certain fate, the life and many deaths of a stand-up comedian.

3x3 16-5-2001


This is a blast from the past... recently uncovered footage of a 9 person exhibition put on by art students from MMU back in 2001, (of which I was one). It was a lot of fun and helped clear up a lot of things for me, e.g. nine cooks make broth making very difficult and music at PVs isn't a good call.... My paintings were the small orange square ones on the blue wall...
